Boucheron Cypris Tourbillon Watches
Women’s watches that function as jewelry
Boucheron has outdone themselves this year in the women’s watches sector. They have created several lines of jeweled watches that are more like fine jewelry that just happen to have an amazing luxury watch hidden somewhere in all the beauty.
Each of the new watches feature amazing creatures depicted in colorful jewels such as elephants, hummingbirds, swans, frogs, chameleons among others. One of the more stunning luxury timepieces is the “Cypris Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges” which is a gorgeous monument of a watch that is surrounded by an elegant swan:
The jeweler at home in the city of lights is well known for the technical prowess of its jewels and timepieces, and its association with Girard-Perregaux stands as irrefutable proof of this. For 2012, Boucheron presented the Cypris Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges not as a watch, but as a remarkable work of art that happens to tell time. Cypris is in fact the Cypriot name for the Greek goddess Aphrodite, a mythical figure that loved the swan drawing her divine chariot. In both black and white versions, the swan delicately wraps around the case at whose heart the tourbillon beats. The impressive jeweled decoration includes sapphires, spinels and diamonds as well as coral and onyx.
Some women might prefer the more stately traditional watches and prefer function over form. But when you have a particular event that you need to dazzle in, Boucheron’s new line of watches will definitely be head turners on any woman’s wrist. These new luxury watches will prove to be considered some of the best women’s watches of 2012.
