Hublot has always been known for their over-the-top extravagance and design in luxury watches. But now they’ve managed to set a record by releasing the most expensive modern watch ever made.
The watch features over 1200 diamonds with just about every square milimeter covered in bling. And if you’ve got five million bucks laying around, it is a really great investment: the watch is one of a kind, it took months to create, and is adorned with the highest quality diamonds you can possibly dig up (a few of those diamonds are over three carats).
“This watch can be considered as a veritable collection of diamonds,” a press release from Hublot reads. “Like a collection of paintings, each was individually chosen in relation to the others to create a harmonious whole. This is the most precious watch ever created by Hublot and its long-standing partner, Atelier Bunter in Geneva. The diamonds selected by Hublot are all of the highest quality, graded A VVS in clarity and Top Wesselton in colour.”
Whoever this watch ends up with, you can bet they’ll need a new insurance policy.
