HYT releases the H1 watch that will blow you away if you want to collect something that no one has possibly ever seen before.
The H1 Watches come in four styles: black, gold, titanium, and two-tone gold/black. You really have to see the watch in person to understand how cool it is!
Now this isn’t gonna float your boat if you believe in understatement. It is quite over the top in many innovative ways
The most notable is how the hours are displayed. Inside the watch are two separate pumps that control the “green goo” that inches it’s way around the dial to indicate the hour.
Ubergizmo gives some initial thoughts on how the watch world is reacting to this amazing new technology:
Relying onliquid-driven pistons alongside gears to let you know just what time it is right now, it is truly a mind boggling timepiece, mesmerizing you at each turn and movement. The pistons in the movement will move the bellows, where each expansion will see the other compress, moving the green fluorescein liquid. Normally, fluorescein is used in the field of forensics to detect latent blood stains, but this scores a first in the field of horology.
This is the perfect watch for a collector that already has all the standard luxury watches and are looking for something truly unique and eye popping to augment their already amazing collections. This might just be the one watch onlookers will be most likely to be drawn to.
You might actually find yourself setting the time before and after 6 o’clock just so you can see the pistons operating the bellows and sucking the fluorescein back and forth throughout the 12 hours. It’s pretty cool to watch!
And with the unbelievable MSRP of $45,000, it’s sure to be a big seller since this thing really is the coolest watch of 2012!
