Luxury watches for young girls
Frederique Constant releases the Junior Ladies Collection
More and more watch manufacturers are riding the wave of new interest in luxury watches. In a world where time is told by just about every piece of technology, watches are more of a statement than a useful device.
Enter Frederique Constant who are making watch wearing converts early. They have been creating lines of smaller watches for younger aficionados in hopes to snag them early on into the timepiece fever we all are afflicted with. Their boy’s collection has proven to be quite successful. On this success, they have turned their sights to the young women who would also appreciate something nice, something real, something luxurious. Watch Matchmaker explains the new interest in the younger market:
Frédérique Constant understands the concept and is presenting girls 12-16 a special watch of their own in the Junior Ladies Collection after finding success with the Junior collection designed for boys. Although the watches will be in quartz, they will introduce young girls to the magic of wearing a watch, and Frédérique Constant hopes it will be a gateway to other pieces as they graduate onwards from leotards and ballet shoes into adulthood.
There will be three options, the designs resembling the women’s Delight timepiece. In a case of 26mm, the models come in a choice of: Roman numerals surrounding a guilloché natural mother-of-pearl dial center; or, applied steel indexes and diamonds around a hearts guilloché pattern on a natural mother-of-pearl dial center for the other two versions. The look is topped off by either a steel bracelet or selection of satin colored straps.
Another nice detail is that Frédérique Constant will allow you to engrave a personal message on the back of the case commemorating a birthday, graduation, communion or any occasion of your choice.
These elegant watches are sure to spark a lifelong love of exquisite timepieces in women for generations as these solid watches get passed down to daughters and granddaughters and so on.
Way to go Frederique Constant! Hopefully this trend continues and expands to more complications and different movements as our younger watch lovers gain sophistication.
