Zenith releases the new watches in it’s Pilot Timepiece line
Zenith owns the term “pilot”
Have you ever wondered why if you want a pilot watch, you can only get one from luxury watchmaker, Zenith Watches?
I mean if you look at all the watches on the market today, there is only one brand of watch that actually calls their watch “Pilot.” It seems an early trip to the patent office scored them their coveted namesake:
That’s because Zenith patented the use of the word “pilot” on timepieces. Understandably the Swiss watchmaker is pressing home its advantage with a tripartite Pilot collection that provided three of our stars of the show: the Aeronef Type 20 – the original aviator watch, standard-issue on the instrument panels of French planes from 1939 – the Doublematic world-time and the pleasingly masculine, only slightly misleadingly named Big Date Special.
This line of watches is definitely pretty amazing no matter what they name it. As a matter of fact, Zenith watches happen to be my personal favorite (for obvious reasons). But when it comes to precision, Zenith is a luxury watch brand that could be considered in the top few. And just look at that beautiful Pilot Doublematic watch.
When i see something so striking, I can hardly contain myself. Zenith has always been at the pinnacle of their game. But this watch sends them out to the stratosphere!
